Aunty Heather
When you were around,
Everyone critized and put you down.
They didn't care how you felt inside,
They just took you for a ride.

I said some things I shouldn't have,
What I said hurts me now,
I've finally realized your really gone,
And you'll never again be around.

You were really nice in your heart,
You just couldn't show your emotions,
Because you were stubborn,
And alcohol to you was like a potion.

I admire you for your dancing,
That's one thing you were great at,
And playing your organ,
You done them with grace like a hunting cat.

I'll always remember the good and bad times,
Unfortunately there were more bad then good,
But I know that really you were a great person,
And just a little misunderstood.

I'll also remember your last days here,
When I was by your side,
In your eyes I could see your fear.
But you were trying so hard to hang on,

At least now your safe up there,
With your husband and son,
Back together, hopefully happy,
Starting a new life together again forever.

Everybody down here will always miss you,
Especially your smart remarks,
And saying how much I looked like mum,
But I know you meant it with your heart.

Especially your remarks to dad,
I don't think he took any offence,
He always had a come back just as fast as you,
But I don't think he ever really got mad.

I'm glad I got to say good-bye,
Because life ends so suddenly as I found out,
And you should live it to the full,
And never say never until you try it out.

Even though I got to say good-bye,
When I think about you and things you've done,
It brings a tear to my eye,
It still will in many years.

The Choice
I want to do this,
But I'm also not sure,
I don't want to rush,
And don't want what happened before.

I want this time to be for good,
I want it to last forever,
Not split at the first sign of trouble,
We have to talk things over.

There is no you and me,
We now have to share,
We are now known as us,
We are now a pair.

A Long Happy Life
I can't wait to walk down the aisle,
Seeing you down the other end will make me smile,
Then will come all the tears,
They will be happy ones, because with you I have no fears.

Spending a long happy life with you,
Is something that I so want to do,
Every now and then we may have difficulties,
But we can sort them out together easily.

As long as you know what your getting yourself into,
My life is dedicated to only you,
Even though we will grow old and weaker,
Our love will be still as strong as ever for each other.

So take my hand,
And place it on your heart,
Because that is where it is going to remain,
As we are never going to part.

True love
If someone says they love me,
And sound as if they really mean it,
I may get married and have a family,
Then my heart will be complete.

Love can be so very strong,
So strong it makes me sick,
And my heart melts at a certain song,
Love can be illusive like a magic trick.

I want someone who won't break my heart,
Someone caring and understanding like you,
Someone to mend it, someone smart,
Someone to help me see things through.

I want you beside me every morning & evening,
Watching the sun rise and set,
Looking into each other's eyes caring,
Remembering the first day we met.

I remember the first day we started to talk,
It was like my dreams had come true,
I had an obsession with watching you walk,
It was like I was meant to meet you.

I've finally found my true feelings,
And that is I've fallen in love with you,
You're just like an angel without your wings,
And I'm hoping you love me to.

I will always remember the first day we kissed,
It was like the first day we met,
Something that will never be forgotten or dismissed,
And something I will never regret.

Running
Running through the people,
Running to the end,
Running through the streets,
From the police again.

I didn't do a thing,
But why would they believe me?
They believed the people,
And one of them couldn't even see.

They finally catch me,
And they take me to the station,
Finally they believe me,
After a million questions.
